Work With Me

You have ended up here because something needs to change.

Maybe you know exactly what that is. Maybe you just know that what you are doing now is not it. Either way, you are in the right place.

I work with two groups of people: women in FE looking to step into senior leadership and those responsible for developing leadership in their organisation. Scroll down to find yourself.

If you are a woman in FE who wants to step into senior leadership

You are capable, experienced, and quietly convinced that you want more

But every time you get close to doing something about it, the guilt kicks in, the fear kicks in, and you end up back at the same pros and cons list you have written a hundred times.

You do not need another leadership programme. You need someone who has been exactly where you are, understands the specific pressures of FE, and can help you work through what is actually keeping you stuck, not just the surface version of it.

There are two ways I can help, depending on where you are.

Stop Thinking, Start Choosing

Stop Thinking, Start Choosing is for women in FE who know they want senior leadership but are caught between their ambition and their guilt.

Over six months, we build the mental fitness foundations that make everything else possible, then work through the identity questions, the family conversations, and the practical realities of stepping up.

This is not about telling you to go for the promotion. It is about helping you make the right decision for you, clearly and confidently, without the 3am spiral.

Career Crossroads

Career Crossroads is for women in FE who are stuck and running on empty, but are not yet sure whether senior leadership is the answer or whether they need something else entirely.

Over four months, we start by quietening the saboteur voices that have been clouding your thinking, then spend two months doing deep, structured work on who you are, what you actually want, and what the realistic options look like.

You leave with a decision you trust and a plan you can act on.

Not sure which one fits where you are right now?

The best first step is a conversation.

If you are responsible for developing leaders in your organisation

You are a senior leader, a line manager, or an HR professional in FE.

You have capable people in your team who are not progressing the way you would expect, or you have a leadership team that is not working as well as it should.

You are not sure whether the problem is skills, confidence, or something else entirely.

Talk through what your team needs

I offer a range of services for organisations including leadership coaching for your middle leaders, DiSC profiling and team workshops, and leadership training and development.

If you want to talk through what your team needs and whether I can help, the best starting point is a conversation.

What to expect from a discovery call

A discovery call is a straightforward thirty-minute conversation.

You tell me what is going on and what you are looking for. I tell you honestly whether I think I can help and what that might look like. There is no obligation and no follow-up pitch. If it is not the right fit, I will tell you.

Why work with me

Whether you’re feeling stuck in your role, juggling too much as a middle manager, or just need space to think through your next move, coaching can help.

I work with individuals and organisations who are ready to make meaningful change, even if they’re not quite sure what that looks like yet.

Who can benefit from coaching

I work with people across education, public services, not-for-profits and values based organisations who:

  • Feel flat or disconnected in their current role
  • Want to do work that feels more meaningful but don’t know where to start
  • Are applying for jobs but getting nowhere — their CV or LinkedIn isn’t telling the right story
  • Keep ending up in roles that feel like more of the same
  • Are leading teams but feel underprepared, overwhelmed, or unsupported
  • Need help to build confidence, clarity and direction

Whether you’re an individual paying for your own development or an organisation looking to invest in your people, we’ll work together to create a coaching approach that fits your needs.

What to expect from a discovery call

Our first step is a short, no-pressure conversation. This is a chance for you to:

  • Tell me a bit about your situation and what’s going on
  • Ask any questions about coaching or how I work
  • See if I’m the right coach for you (and if coaching is the right thing right now)

If we decide to work together, I’ll explain the next steps. If not, that’s completely fine.

No obligation and no follow-up emails trying to sell you something.

FAQs

Do I have to commit to a full programme?

No. You can start with a set of three sessions and review from there. Some people want more, some find three is enough for now.

Where do the sessions take place?

Most sessions take place online via Zoom. If you’re a local organisation and would prefer in-person sessions, we can organise that too.

What’s your coaching style?

Straightforward, supportive, and tailored to you. No fluff or jargon. I ask questions that help you think clearly, challenge assumptions, and explore what’s really going on.

Do you only work with people in education?

No. I work with clients from a range of sectors, but I do a lot of work in Further Education and public services, as I understand the pressures and culture.

Can my employer pay for the coaching?

Yes. I work with individuals, charities, public sector organisations and businesses. Pricing reflects who’s paying – you can find more on that on the individual services page.
